Broadway Wine Shop – Free wine and cheese tasting
Posted on 10. Jul, 2008 by BCXS in BC, Events, Local Businesses, Vancouver
Even though the Merrit Mountain Music Festival (aka Mountainfest) starts today and we hope to have a stunning review of Monty Python’s Spamalot, we are really looking forward to Saturday, July 12th.
The Broadway Wine Shop will be hosting a complimentary tasting with Venturi-Schulze Vineyards and Benton Brothers Fine Cheese. This tasting will be held this Saturday, July 12th between 4 and 7pm. You will have the opportunity to meet Marilyn Venturi, who is coming in for this tasting, and hear about what goes into making their Vancouver Island wines. Also joining us again will be one of the Benton Brothers. We can’t wait to see what pairings they have come up with this time.
About the Broadway Wine Shop from their website:
Established in 1986, we were one of the first private wine shops in British Columbia. Our selection is varied and international, carefully chosen to meet all budgets and tastes, accommodating to the casual imbiber as well as the seasoned connoisseur. We are dedicated to bringing our customers value and quality while at the same time supporting smaller producers and innovative new wines.
