CeltFest 2008 – Finale – Sunset & Stars Gala
CeltFest 2008 is running all week in Nanaimo but we are particularly interesting in the final concert:
Saturday, July 12th, 7:30 p.m. ~ Port Theatre, Nanaimo, BC
A finale showcase of CeltFest teaching faculty and stellar performers from the east coast to west and from around the world.
Among them are Champion fiddlers, dancers, pipers, drummers, Juno nominees, and renowned recording arts.
Performances will be given by internationally acclaimed Celtic musicians and dancers showcasing their talents, including Wendy MacIsaac, Mac Morin, and Mairi Rankin of the Cape Breton Band Beòlach, all stellar musicians in their own right , the world-beat Celtic trio Bob Worrall, Ruth Sutherland and Doug Feaver from Toronto’s Scantily Plaid, reigning World Champion Highland Dancer David Wilton, CeltFest Irish Dancers and many more
