DO NOT GO. My God, what a horrible waste of money. Bumbling staff, drunk, screaming teenagers, line-ups out the wazoo … overpriced, money-making scam, really. You’re herded through like cattle, and if you can even make it into a haunted house, it’s hardly frightening because of all of the lighting to deal with the crowds — crowds of obnoxious, stumbling teens. Go during the PNE, when there are no line-ups and it’s darker inside (and therefore spookier) inside. Only go to Fright Nights if you want a drunken teen puking on you or punching you in a brawl with his thug friend. It’s like Whalley Surrey, but in an amusement park!
Don’t go! Save your money! I went to Fright Night this year (2008), and it was a big waste of money! The line-ups for the haunted houses were long (45 min to 1 hour), and they were not scary at all! Each one was pretty much the same as the rest. Definitely not worth the wait or the money. I get more of a fright opening my Visa bill each month. You’re better off spending 10 bucks renting a few horror movies from your local video store…
