Posted on 12. Jun, 2009 by BCXS in BC, Events
BC Browncoats, a fan group, present the 4th annual Can't Stop The Serenity Vancouver event, joining 49 other cities around the world to raise money for Equality Now, an organisation which works to end violence and discrimination against women and children worldwide. Twenty percent of the net proceeds will go to BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre.
Join us for a fun-filled day of activities, including: A "Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" sing-along, an evil laugh contest, Firefly/Serenity Trivia Bingo, costume contest, Silent Auction (cash only), door prizes and of course, Joss Whedon's film, "Serenity", which started it all.

Every year this is one of my favourite events. Equality Now is such an important charity.
