Local BC Blog Link Explosion – Week 2

Posted on 11. Jun, 2008 by BCXS in BC, Local Blogs, Misc

Yet again, we offer up a deluge of local BC blog posts that you should really check out:

hummingbird604.com recently reviewed the Rugby Beach Club Grille on his blog. – “The food was outstanding” – We have yet to partake in the Rugby Club, but will soon after reading this great review.

colleenanderson.wordpress.com blogged about the local gas prices - “Yes, the price of gas is going up because of the price of gas” – Anyone else remember gas at $0.30 a litre? Yeah that was only 8 years ago.

buzzbishop.com is also blogging on a similar topic… taking transit - “So we have 1 hr commuting a day, vs 4.5 hrs commuting a day.” -  Unfortunately, we are in the same boat Buzz.  Where are the solar powered flying cars the future has promised us?

stephenrees.wordpress.com is also blogging about transit. – “our transit system here has been under supplied – or over capacity – same thing – for many years.” – Can’t argue with the man… We need to see a significant hike in capacity soon!

keira-anne.com blogged about the other “hot” BC topic: the rain in June - “One thing I will complain about is the bewildering and unseasonably cold temperatures.” – The rain and cold is getting to all of us and, as usual, the weather-people say it won’t last much longer.

Also, after 15 months of pregnancy, Qila the Vancouver Aquarium’s 12-year-old beluga whale has given birth to her first calf:
